Places to visit

Kasugano Park is the largest multi-purpose area in Nara Park. The park is surrounded by famous sightseeing spots such as Mt. Wakakusa to the east, Todaiji Temple’s Great Buddha Hall on the northwest, and Todaiji Temple’s Nandaimon Gate to the west. The square is also used for events.

Access

  • Nara Kotsu Bus (City Loop Line) from both JR Nara Station and Kintetsu-Nara station
    About 5 minutes walk from ‘Daibutsuden Kasugataisha-mae’ bus stop
  • About 20 minutes walk from Kintetsu-Nara station
